Michael Gavura has worked with The Kenney Group for over a decade, specializing in health care advocacy, community relations and coalition building in Utah.  

 

Michael was born in New York City, and raised in Salt Lake City. He graduated from the University of Utah and went on to pursue a career in law. He served as an attorney in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General's Corps (JAG Corps) during the Vietnam War.

 

After completing his military service, Michael returned to Utah where he became an entrepreneur.  Following in his father’s footsteps, Michael built and sold several successful furniture stores in Utah before being drawn back to the legal sector and public affairs.  Michael's military, business and legal experience make him an effective problem solver and gifted advocate for our Utah clients.
